This year marks an incredible milestone for Lew: his 50th continuous year showing sheep at the Jacktown Fair. His deep commitment to the community is reflected in his extensive volunteer work. He has served on numerous boards, including the Greene County Cooperative Extension, Greene County Wool Growers, Greene County Fair Board, Greene County Farm Bureau, Greene County Junior Livestock Sale Association, and the West Greene FFA Advisory Board.
Currently, Lew volunteers for Dr. Nancy Kerr, DVM, delivers Meals on Wheels, volunteers at the Washington City Mission, and is a member of the Youth Development Committee for Greene County 4-H.
Serving alongside him is his wife, Debbie Crouse, the retired Business Manager of the Central Greene School District. Deeply invested in local education and community leadership, Debbie previously served on the West Greene School Board for 12 years and currently serves as the Treasurer for the Board of Second Sam 9.
