Jefferson- Morgan senior Miles Sowden qualified for the WPIAL Individual Golf Championships after carding an 80 at Indian Run Golf Course.
He continued his post-season at the WPIAL Boys’ AA Golf Individuals First Round held at South Hills Country Club. He shot an 83, punching his ticket to the second round at the prestigious Oakmont Country Club.
Miles competed in the final round at Oakmont, shooting a 102 and gaining valuable experience at one of the nation’s most legendary golf courses.
