Greene County Elite is a travel baseball club consisting of only county players. The team originated in 2023 and had the privilege to travel to Aberdeen, MD this year to participate in the Summer Kick-Off Tournament at the Ripken Experience.
The boys competed in the 10 division and won two of the three games they played against teams from Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
In addition to their success at Aberdeen, the team finished as champions of three other tournaments in their spring/summer season, including the No Off-Season Mother’s Day Classic in Tarentum, the All-American Can of Corn Classic in Trafford, and the Grizzlies Battle of the Bats Tournament in Glenville, WV.
They also placed second in the Mountaineer Country Invitational in Morgantown and at the Grand Slam Showdown Tournament in St. Clairsville, OH. Their overall record for the 2026 season was 28-12-1.
