Ava Simons has been behind the chair for more than a year after graduating from Laurel Business Institute, and she already brings a true passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful.
She was drawn to hairstyling because she understands how much hair can affect the way someone feels about themselves. Ava loves being part of the moment when someone sees a change they have been dreaming about – whether it’s healthier hair growth, a fresh color, a new style, or even a total transformation
One of Ava’s favorite parts of being a stylist is seeing the excitement in her clients’ eyes when they see the final result. Hair extensions are one of her specialties, and she especially enjoys working with sew in extensions.
In her opinion, a great client-stylist relationship starts with mutual interest, trust, and making sure every client feels comfortable throughout the process.
She is always excited to learn new techniques and continue growing in her craft. Her goal is to uplift her clients and help them look and feel their best. Before beginning a new service, she takes time for a thorough consultation, walking clients through the process, expectations, and pricing so they feel informed and comfortable.
When Ava is not creating beautiful looks at the salon, she enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her family. She especially loves her role as big sister to her three younger siblings.
She gives special credit to her stepmother, Elizabeth Simons, who encouraged her to attend beauty school and has always supported her dreams.
Ava is available by appointment only, Monday through Saturday, for extensions, highlights, color, cuts, and styles.
