ParaCon at the Greene County Fairgrounds

Get ready for the Greene County Paracon, coming in November 2024! The convention, centered around all things paranormal such as ghosts, aliens, cryptids, and more, is being hosted by the local paranormal investigator team Outsider Paranormal SWPA and the Greene County Department of Recreation.

“The event came from the excellent working relationship we have developed between ourselves and Bret Moore over the last couple of years, with area interest in the paranormal growing. We want to bring a day of speakers, authors, researchers, and investigators to the area, as well as support area vendors,” Outsider Paranormal SWPA’s Damon Keys says.

Speakers at the event include local author Kevin Paul, researcher/author Brian Seech, Agents of the Unexplained Research Group founder and paranormal researcher Bill Rigby, researcher/author Tony Lavorgne, author Christie Soltis, and hosts Outsider Paranormal SWPA. The speakers will cover topics ranging from ghosts, Bigfoot, and aliens to local Greene County paranormal legends.

The evening will conclude with a paranormal investigation with Outsider Paranormal SWPA; the investigation has limited availability, so reach out now if you are interested. Those interested in becoming a vendor can also contact outsiderparanormalswpa@gmail.com; spaces are $25 each.

The Paracon will be held on November 23 from 10am to 5pm at the Greene County Fairgrounds. It’s free to attend, but donations are appreciated.

“All donations will go back to local projects and programs of the Department of Parks and Recreation.”

So, come out to enjoy a family-friendly day of speakers, vendors, food trucks and more at the Greene County Paracon. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet some of your favorite paranormal investigators and researchers!

“As for Outsider Paranormal SWPA, we remain active in the SWPA area, helping local families and businesses with their haunts and doing charity ghost hunts throughout the spooky season.”

If you are interested in working with Outsider Paranormal SWPA or need help with your own haunting situation, reach out to them through their email, or find them on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
