Turkey Trot 5K/Run/Walk

Mark your calendar for the very first Bowlby Library Turkey Trot!  The Turkey Trot is a 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children’s Fun Run. This event will raise money to fulfill Eva K. Bowlby’s mission, “to provide through the use of traditional and emerging technologies, materials and services for community residents of all ages for Literacy, Information, Fun & Enrichment.” The event will be held on Saturday, November 18th beginning at the Bowlby Library Gazebo. The 1K Children’s Fun Run, “The Wobble Gobble”, will begin at 9A.M., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:30A.M. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female walker/runner, in each age category. Each participant will receive a race t-shirt, in addition children receive a copy of the book, “The Great Turkey Race”, by Steve Metzger.  Registration fees are:  1K Children’s Fun Run-$15($20 Day-Of), 5k Walker-$25($30 Day-Of), 5K Runner-$25($30 Day-Of), Phantom Runner Donation accepted.  You may pre-register ONLINE at https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Waynesburg/BowlbyLibraryTurkeyTrot.
