Summer Reading Kick-Off Festival

The Bowlby Library Summer Reading Kick-Off Festival is on Saturday, June 24th from 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. on the lawn. Call the library today at 724.627.9776 to register your elementary aged child(ren) for the Kick-Off or any of the Summer Reading Clubs in the Children’s Department. Our theme this summer is “Build A Better World!” Story Hours are planned for all ages [0 – adult], Tuesday through Thursday of each week, beginning the week of July 10 through August 18.
Preschool:
Tuesday (3-4yrs) @ 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday (4-5yrs) @ 1:30 p.m.
Toddler Share:
Tuesday (18-35mos) @ 5:00 p.m.
Thursday (18-35mos) @ 10:30 a.m.
School Age:
Wednesday (6-12yrs) @ 10:30 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.
(lunch & movie at 11:30 a.m.)
Young Adult:
Wednesday (13-18yrs) @ 4:00 p.m.
Stories Under the Moon
Wednesday (3-6yrs) @ 5:00 p.m.
Baby Lapsit
Thursday (birth-12mos) @ 1:00 p.m.
FREE lunches will be provided during summer reading programs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for children; snack foods will be provided Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons by the Greater Pittsburgh Area Food Bank.
