PA One Book – Daniel Finds A Poem

The Children’s Department at the Eva K. Bowlby Public Library is holding a One Book Special Event on Saturday, May 6, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  This event is for children 3 – 6 years of age and will include a story time, craft, songs and games.  Each child will receive a copy of this year’s PA One Book, Daniel Finds a Poem by Micha Archer.  Now in its 12th year, One Book, Every Young Child is a valuable program that highlights the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers and the significance of reading early and often to children, as well as engaging them in conversation and other activities around books.  Please call the Bowlby Library to register for this event at 724-627-9776.
