Movie and Lecture Series

Join the Greene County Historical Society in our agricultural barn theater on the first Saturday of the month, for a unique approach to understanding our past. The Experiencing History: Movie and Lecture Series offers a better understanding of our role in American history. The series offers a chance to hear lecturers talk about select topics and how Greene County’s experiences and traditions relate to the historical significance of the monthly movie and theme. Concessions will be available including popcorn from the 1913 ButterKist popcorn machine. Doors open at 6:00pm and admission is free! The topic this month is “Colonial and Woodland Indians,” and the featured film will be  “Black Robe.” 6pm, admission is free!
