Mather Mine 90th Anniversary

Town Festival celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Mather Mine Explosion Recognition of all Miners that were lost in the Mine Explosion on May 19th, 1928. Rep. Pam Snyder, UMWA Ed Yankovich, County Commissioner and our Twp. Supervisors will be here to help us remember that horrible day. We will be blowing the original WHISTLE at 4:07 p.m. We will be having numerous vendors, Quick Exit is back at 5 p.m. DJ Sandy from 11-3. Numerous raffles, tons of things for kids, 50/50 drawing at 8 p.m. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!! Held in Mather, PA.
