Red Kettle Run

The Greene County Salvation Army is hosting it’s annual Red Kettle Run (RKR), 5K Walk, Run, and Kids’ Mile Fun Run at the Waynesburg Central High School on December 7, 2019. All registrants are guaranteed an RKR long sleeve shirt (if registered by November 13th), Patch, Reusable Bag, Free Pancake Breakfast, and top finishers will have the opportunity to win a race medal.
The money raised from the RKR will impact individuals that live in Greene County. We will use all proceeds to help elderly and less fortunate individuals to assist with paying utility bills to keep them warm this winter. Additionally, we will purchase jackets and warm clothing for children and families who cannot afford to do so. Lastly, we are sending children to Camp Allegheny this summer to participate in activities such as archery, fishing, hiking, and swimming.
